US Fighter Jet Shoot Down Houthis Missile: American fighter jet has shot down a cruise missile coming from the area of Haiti rebels. The US military said it shot down a cruise missile fired by Haiti rebels in the southern Red Sea and there were no reports of any casualties.
“At approximately 4:45 a.m. on January 14, an anti-ship cruise missile was fired from Iranian-backed Haiti terrorist areas in Yemen towards USS Laboon (DDG 58), deployed in the southern Red Sea,” the US military said in a post on Twitter. The missile was shot down by American fighter planes in the area around the coast of Hudaydah. There are no casualties or any damage reported.”

Why are Haiti rebels attacking?
Yemen’s Haitian rebels have recently intensified attacks on foreign ships in the Red Sea. Haitian rebels are calling these attacks as their support for the Palestinians.
